Libraries, Community Spaces and Exhibitions

As part of Doll Hospital Journal’s mission to create a platform for unheard voices and in aim of increasing accessibility for mental health resources, we are proud and thankful that our journal has found its way in a multitude of spaces.

Doll Hospital Journal has been exhibited in the Interference Archives in Brooklyn, NYC as part of their ‘We Are What We Archive Exhibition‘ and as part of the NEFELE Festival’s Visual Activism for Mental Health exhibition in Athens, Greece. We were also included in Sick! exhibition in Sun Pier House Gallery in Kent, UK.

Our journals are part of the book collections of the Glenside Hospital Museum, Belfast Trans Resource Centre, Manchester LGBT Zine Library and the Wellcome Collection.

Doll Hospital Journal hard copies are also stocked by Housmans bookshop in London, Magalleria, Bath and Good Press, Glasgow. You can also find us in Amsterdam at Athenaeum.

We have previously donated hard copies of our journals to mental health wards, rape crisis centres and crisis centres amongst others and are always up for donating hard copies to community spaces when possible.

Doll Hospital Issues One and Two were distributed digitally for all the students at Wadham College, Oxford University, as part of their welfare support.
